Abstract
In this presentation, Sjoerd van den Brom will delve into the dynamic world of Boskalis. He will begin with an overview of Boskalis's activities, highlighting the company's strategies, including sustainability. A particular focus will be given to the crucial role that surveying plays across all aspects of the company's operations. Bio

Sjoerd van den Brom holds the position of Survey Director in Boskalis (www.Boskalis.com), a large multinational marine contracting company. In this role he leads the in-house survey department and is responsible for all survey support activities to Boskalis projects worldwide. Sjoerd studied Hydrography at Amsterdam Nautical College, an IHO Cat A. accredited hydrography program, and graduated in 1986. He started his career with Boskalis in 1989 as an international field surveyor, was responsible for survey in the Netherlands home market from 1995 to 2000 and became involved in survey management from 200 onwards.
